张海青,北京航空航天大学副教授。近年来,一直致力于利用引力的全息对偶研究对称性破缺,从而产生拓扑缺陷的问题。他利用引力全息对偶研究过超流体中涡旋的产生,提出了周期性边界条件下涡旋数目的统计规律,拓扑缺陷在空间上的近邻分布规律以及如何在渐近AdS空间中实现离散对称性破缺。
张海青本科毕业于中国科学技术大学,硕士师从高能所的黄超光研究员,博士师从理论所的蔡荣根研究员。博士后分别在葡萄牙里斯本大学以及荷兰乌特勒支大学。现在为北京航空航天大学博士生导师,副教授。
报告简介
When a system was quenched across the critical point to a symmetry breaking phase, Kibble-Zurek Mechanism (KZM) predicts a universal power-law between the number of the generated defects and the quench rate. In this talk, I will introduce how to realize the discrete symmetry breaking in the AdS/CFT correspondence. Specifically, I will talk about our recent work on the holographic realization of the kinks and the domain walls in spatial one-dimension and two-dimensions, respectively. Interestingly, we found that for kinks the defects satisfy the KZM, however, for the domain walls they will violate the KZM. I will give some explanations for this violation.
