Understanding the entanglement of radiation in QFT has been a long standing challenge, with implications from black hole thermodynamics to quantum information. We demonstrate how the free fermion in 1+1-dimensions reveals the details of the density matrix of the radiation produced by a moving mirror. Using the resolvent method rather than standard boundary CFT techniques we derive the Renyi entropies, modular Hamiltonian and flow of the radiation, and determine when mirrors generate unitary transformations. Exploring the Renyi entropies on AdS2 with reflecting boundary conditions yields surprising consequences for quantum extremal surfaces in JT gravity.
报告人简介:
I did my Bacherlor and Master in Physics at the Universidad Catolica de Chile. My PhD was in co-tutelle between Catolica and the University of Wuerzburg in Germany, and I spent the last semester of my PhD at the Perimeter Institute in Waterloo, Canada. In 2019 I started my first postdoc at the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics in Potsdam. My next step will be a postdoc at the University of Amsterdam where I will move at the end of the present year.
